Roulette Rules

Roulette is a game involving a wheel, a ball and 38 numbers. From the French word for “small wheel” Roulette has fascinated millions over time with its blend of chance, skill and luck. Lives can be changed as a result of a single spin of the wheel.

The players places the bet on the roulette table putting the chip on the number which they wish to bet on. There are a multitude of bets that a player can make and the payout is exactly proportional to the risk of the bet.

That is basically all there is to roulette. The roulette wheel containing either 37 or 38 separately numbered slots is spun and players are able to bet on a variety of outcomes. The numbers from 1 to 36 are alternately coloured red and black with the odd numbers being red. The number 0 is green. In United States casinos there is a second green 00.

If a player bets on a single number and wins, the payout is 35 to 1.
